Love Here Local Impact 

Two Years of Loving Our Community 

Our Love for Local Schools

  • The Love Fulfilled Program: Provided snacks, supplies, and fulfilled wishlists for 5 local schools counselor's offices and nurses clinics. 

  • Summer Enrichment Kits: Distributed enrichment kits and books to 216 identified students in need across 8 local schools.

  • Special Education Support: Assembled and distributed 24 care packages for special needs teachers and cleared classroom needs for SPED teachers.
  • Campus Support:  Cleaned and restored a local schools Outdoor Learning Center with the support of our members families; Helped restore classrooms, Donated $600 for necessary supplies. 

  • Campus Uplift: Chalked inspirational messages for STAAR Testing and the first day of school, picked up campus trash, and served as volunteers for the FISD Quest Art Show.





Our Love for Local Non-Profits

  • Galveston County Food Bank: Created 1,000 food bags for children, sorted and packaged 5,500 lbs of food, assembled 300 hygiene kits, and donated $500.

  • Ronald McDonald House of Galveston: Delivered meal kits, kindness kits, hygiene kits, and birthday gifts to residents.

  • Hope Village: Host an annual carnival for the villagers including games, prizes, and lunch.

  • Keep Friendswood Beautiful: Planted gardens and picked up trash at Stevenson Park, plus a $500 donation.

  • Labeled & Loved:  Assembled 40 care packages for moms of children with special needs, plus a $250 donation. 

  • Community Partnerships: Proudly support FISD Cares, Love Paws Pantry, Three Little Pitties, The Harbour Summer Lunch Serve, and Collective Kindness.




Our Love for Our Community 

  • Local Blessing Boxes: Regularly assemble and distribute meal kits, birthday kits, school supplies, and hygiene kits to all 3 blessing boxes.

  • Senior Care: Distributed over 600 flowers and Valentine’s cards to local nursing homes, sang Christmas carols, crafted with seniors, handed out treats for Halloween, and hosted a chair volleyball tournament.

  • Honoring Veterans: Love Here kids planned and hosted a Veteran's Day picnic, serving over 50 hot meals and presenting special pins.

  • First Responders: Assembled and decorated 120 lunch bags for the Friendswood Police Department, Fire Department, and EMS.

  • Annual Cookie Exchange: Every December, members gather to bake and deliver dozens of homemade cookies throughout the community.

  • Thanksgiving Meals:  Provided full Thanksgiving meals to 55 families in our community.




Our Love and Thankfulness for Others

"Thank You for Loving Here"

  • FISD Decade of Service: Gifted custom bags with treats and handwritten cards honoring all 204 FISD Staff members who have served 10+ years in the district.

  • FISD Custodial Staff: Love Here families decorated the high school cafeteria and served a catered lunch, presenting all 64 staff members with a gift and handwritten thank you notes from our kids.

  • Westwood Elementary Staff: Gifted the entire staff "dinners on us," bought new coffee machines, and restocked the break room fridge to say thank you for going above and beyond during a tough time.
